About the Artist

Born and raised in Rhode Island, Sarah has lived in Western Pennsylvania since 2018. She graduated with a BA in Psychology from The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 2018, and an MA in Psychology from Chatham University in 2020. After spending 5 years working as a behavior therapist, she decided to embark upon a new journey and attend Westmoreland County Community College for an Associates in Visual Art.

If you were to ask Sarah what inspires her to create art, the answer is simple - life. She takes life experiences, both positive and negative, and translates them into scenes ranging from objects posing in a still life to deeply emotional scenes straight from the imagination. Sarah is also interested in art pertaining to the human figure and nature (especially birds).

The most common mediums that Sarah uses in her art are oil paint, acrylic paint, charcoal, graphite pencil, and colored pencil. (Once in a while she will dabble in digital art.)
